To be honest we thought the house would have been in better shape considering our all-in cost per night was $1,000. There were plumbing issues in the master bath that had obviously been there for a while (one sink didn't work, the other only had Hot water).. Also the baseboard molding behind the first floor toilets were missing, We were left to wonder if there were other plumbing issues or maybe bugs? Outside the house below the front door, there was a large open hole in the foundation wall. I guess that had something to do with the unresolved plumbing issues, but it seemed careless and sloppy, animals could have gotten in there, more bugs, etc. The plumbers were in and out for three days resolving the issues. Toward the end of our stay we started experiencing smoke detector false alarms, it seemed like there were multiple fire alarm systems in the house, with different types of detectors, including one 15 feet up on the wall, which means we could not hit the reset button. We realize that Harborview can't possibly know the condition of everything in each house you manage, but we feel the owners knew about the plumbing items and only did something after we contacted your office, including fixing the hole in the foundation wall. Maybe the owners hoped we wouldn't complain? All these items just didn't seem right for the overall quality and rental price paid for that house. Paul & Cheryl G."
